Renewable Energy Sources: Germany may become the first European country moved to it

Nowadays renewable sources of energy already provide 30 percent of the general amount of the energy consumption in Germany.
The most developed spheres of renewable energy are solar and wind energy. The background of it was caused by the governmental grants, which made independent solar panels installing possible for the citizens of the country. By examining the process, we can find out that at the very beginning alternative energy funding costs pretty much for the federal government. The authorities are forced to increase rates in order to provide the funding. But due to the increasing number of the RES (renewable energy sources) consumers, the rates were reduced. Nowadays the prices for the solar energy were reduced to 80 per cent, for the wind energy to 55 per cent. So the alternative sources of energy have become real competitors of the traditional ones.
Ralph Fux, the President of the Genrich Bell Fund, claimed, that the key moment in the German energy market transformation had been the investments in solar batteries production in China. Thus, the mature market has caused the increase production capacity and gradual rates reduction.
We should note, that less and less money was allocated for the population funding process due to the rates reduction. Today 1, 5 million of German households throughout the country (except coal – mining regions) are the participants of solar and wind energy consumption programme. Also about 1000 private energy cooperatives were formed.
RES consumption has become not only economically beneficial but fashionable as well. The representative of the Green Party Oliver Crisher has claimed, that many German citizens control the amount of energy, produced by their own solar panels daily.
